Wow! That sounds a lot. The flight time will prbably be another 15% on top of that as the flight times are based on 475KTS crusing speed, Then I still have taxi, runway holding, climb, descent, landing, go-around, taxi (again) and turnaround time to add on.

I will be setting dates and times for my flights about a week before and a flightplan will be available for viewing. Until then enjoy!

Aircraft planning

Before you can even begin to plan the route an aircraft needs to be sourced. Planning the route before you have selected your aircraft will cause major problems. I have decided to use a modern Boeing 767-300ER for all my flights. I downloaded the following bits and pieces from the following websites, all of which i highly reccommend:

767-300ER in Aviajet livery from project open sky (Main aircraft)
Autosave from autosave (Great for autosaving your flight every x amount of minutes if fs crashes or you mess up an approach)
ffscreen.zip (Automatically saves all screenshots, avoiding the need to keeep pausing and pasting).

I expect to conduct all my flights under the registration G-DWWT and under the callsign WORLD xx (xx being the leg number)

Introduction

Hi All

My Name is David Wells and I am a keep flight simmer and have decided to swap my flights around Europe in an Easyjet 73G for a trip around the world. You can follow my progress in this blog. I also have a website on spotting at my local airport (Luton LTN/EGGW) which can be accessed by clicking here.

I have vowed to follow all ATC instructions and all flights will be started again at the same position as they were left. I will not speed up the simulation time and I will try to pause them as little as is possible. I will be adding a new post for each leg with details and screenshots, so you can keep track.

Have fun, I know I will!
